28. Pada hari itu Yosua merebut Makeda dan kota itu dipukulnya dengan mata pedang, juga rajanya; kota itu dan semua makhluk yang ada di dalamnya ditumpasnya, tidak ada seorangpun yang dibiarkannya lolos, dan raja Makeda, diperlakukannya seperti telah diperlakukannya raja Yerikho.
