לב. וֶאֱלִישָׁע יֹשֵׁב בְּבֵיתֹו וְהַזְּקֵנִים יֹשְׁבִים אִתֹּו וַיִּשְׁלַח אִישׁ מִלְּפָנָיו בְּטֶרֶם יָבֹא הַמַּלְאָךְ אֵלָיו וְהוּא ׀ אָמַר אֶל־הַזְּקֵנִים הַרְּאִיתֶם כִּי־שָׁלַח בֶּן־הַמְרַצֵּחַ הַזֶּה לְהָסִיר אֶת־רֹאשִׁי רְאוּ ׀ כְּבֹא הַמַּלְאָךְ סִגְרוּ הַדֶּלֶת וּלְחַצְתֶּם אֹתֹו בַּדֶּלֶת הֲלֹוא קֹול רַגְלֵי אֲדֹנָיו אַחֲרָיו׃
