יב. ויקם המלך לילה ויאמר אל־עבדיו אגידה־נא לכם את אשר־עשו לנו ארם ידעו כי־רעבים אנחנו ויצאו מן־המחנה להחבה [בהשדה כ] (בשדה ק) לאמר כי־יצאו מן־העיר ונתפשם חיים ואל־העיר נבא׃
