33. Ekki sneri Jeróbóam sér eftir þennan atburð frá sínum vonda vegi, heldur gjörði að nýju óvalda menn að hæðaprestum. Hann vígði hvern sem vildi, og varð sá hinn sami þannig hæðaprestur.
