26. Þá tóku þeir nautið og fórnuðu því og ákölluðu nafn Baals frá morgni og til hádegis og sögðu: 'Baal, svara þú oss!' En þar var steinhljóð og ekkert svar. Og þeir höltruðu kringum altarið, sem þeir höfðu gjört.
