4. En sjálfur fór hann eina dagleið á eyðimörku og kom þar sem gýfilrunnur var og settist undir hann. Þá óskaði hann sér að hann mætti deyja og mælti: 'Mál er nú, Drottinn, að þú takir líf mitt, því að mér er eigi vandara um en feðrum mínum.'
