19. Þá gekk Batseba á fund Salómons konungs til þess að tala máli Adónía við hann. Konungur stóð upp á móti henni, laut henni og settist síðan í hásæti sitt og lét setja fram stól handa konungsmóður. Settist hún til hægri handar konungi.
