30. Fór þá Benaja til tjalds Drottins og mælti til Jóabs: 'Svo segir konungur: Gakk þú út.' Jóab svaraði: 'Nei, hér vil ég deyja.' Færði Benaja þá konungi svar hans og sagði: 'Svo mælti Jóab, og svo svaraði hann mér.'
