39. En er konungur fór fram hjá, kallaði hann til konungs og mælti: 'Þjónn þinn fór í bardagann. Þá gekk maður fram úr fylkingunni, færði mér mann og sagði: ,Geymdu þennan mann. Komist hann í burt, þá skal líf þitt við liggja, eða þú skalt greiða talentu silfurs.`
