26. Þá sagði konan, sem átti lifandi barnið, við konung, _ því að ástin til barnsins brann í brjósti hennar _, hún mælti: 'Æ, herra minn, gefið henni barnið, sem lifir, en deyðið það ekki.' En hin sagði: 'Njóti þá hvorug okkar þess. Höggvið það sundur!'
