34. Og Sál mælti: 'Gangið út meðal fólksins og segið þeim: ,Hver og einn af yður komi til mín með sinn uxa og sína sauðkind og slátrið þeim hér og etið, svo að þér syndgið ekki á móti Drottni með því að eta það með blóðinu.'` Þá kom hver og einn af liðinu um nóttina með það, er hann hafði, og þeir slátruðu því þar.
