12. Og Samúel lagði snemma af stað næsta morgun til þess að hitta Sál. Og Samúel var sagt svo frá: 'Sál er kominn til Karmel, og sjá, hann hefir reist sér minnismerki. Því næst sneri hann við og hélt áfram og er farinn ofan til Gilgal.'
