27. er Davíð tók sig upp og lagði af stað með menn sína og drap hundrað manns meðal Filista. Og Davíð fór með yfirhúðir þeirra og lagði þær allar með tölu fyrir konung, til þess að hann næði mægðum við konung. Þá gaf Sál honum Míkal dóttur sína fyrir konu.
