8. Spyr þú sveina þína, og munu þeir segja þér hið sanna. Lát því sveinana finna náð í augum þínum, því að á hátíðardegi erum vér komnir. Gef því þjónum þínum og Davíð syni þínum það, sem þú hefir fyrir hendi.'
