8. Þá sagði Abísaí við Davíð: 'Í dag hefir Guð selt óvin þinn í hendur þér. Nú mun ég reka spjótið gegnum hann og ofan í jörðina með einu lagi; eigi mun ég þurfa að leggja til hans tvisvar.'
