4. Höfðingjar Filista reiddust honum og sögðu við hann: 'Lát þú manninn hverfa heim aftur. Fari hann á sinn stað, þar sem þú hefir sett hann, en eigi skal hann með oss fara í bardagann, svo að hann snúist ekki á móti oss í orustunni. Með hverju gæti hann betur náð aftur hylli herra síns en með höfðum þessara manna?
