15. Og Davíð sagði við hann: 'Viltu vísa mér leið til ræningjaflokks þessa?' Hann svaraði: 'Vinn þú mér eið að því við Guð að drepa mig ekki og framselja mig ekki í hendur húsbónda míns, þá skal ég vísa þér leið til ræningjaflokks þessa.'
