23. Þá er ár var liðið, fór her Sýrlendinga í móti honum. En er þeir komu til Júda og Jerúsalem, drápu þeir alla þjóðhöfðingja meðal lýðsins, og sendu allt herfangið til konungsins í Damaskus.
