15. Og er hann fór þaðan, hitti hann Jónadab Rekabsson, er kom í móti honum. Hann heilsaði honum og sagði við hann: 'Ert þú einlægur við mig, eins og ég er við þig?' Jónadab svaraði: 'Svo er víst.' Þá mælti Jehú: 'Ef svo er, þá rétt mér hönd þína.' Þá rétti hann honum hönd sína, og hann lét hann stíga upp í vagninn til sín
