24. Síðan gekk hann inn til þess að færa sláturfórnir og brennifórnir. En Jehú hafði sett áttatíu manns fyrir utan dyrnar og sagt: 'Hver sá er lætur nokkurn af mönnum þeim, er ég fæ yður í hendur, sleppa undan, hann skal láta sitt líf fyrir hans líf.'
