23. þar til er Drottinn rak Ísrael burt frá augliti sínu, eins og hann hafði sagt fyrir munn allra þjóna sinna, spámannanna. Þannig var Ísrael herleiddur burt úr landi sínu til Assýríu og hefir verið þar fram á þennan dag.
