27. Þá tók hann frumgetinn son sinn, er taka átti ríki eftir hann, og fórnaði honum í brennifórn á múrnum. Kom þá mikil hryggð yfir Ísrael, og héldu þeir burt þaðan og hurfu aftur heim í land sitt.
