31. Gehasí var farinn á undan þeim og hafði lagt stafinn yfir andlit sveinsins, en þar var steinhljóð og ekkert lífsmark. Þá sneri hann við í móti honum og sagði honum svo frá: 'Ekki vaknar sveinninn!'
