18. Riddarinn fór í móti honum og sagði: 'Konungur lætur spyrja, hvort þér farið með friði.' Jehú svaraði: 'Hvað varðar þig um það? Snú við og fylg mér.' Varðmaðurinn sagði frá því og mælti: 'Sendimaðurinn er kominn til þeirra, en kemur ekki aftur.'
