6. Síðan lagðist Amnon og lést vera sjúkur. En er konungur kom að vitja um hann, sagði Amnon við konung: 'Lát Tamar systur mína koma og gjöra tvær kökur að mér áhorfandi, svo að ég megi eta þær úr hendi hennar.'
