21. Akítófel sagði við Absalon: 'Gakk þú inn til hjákvenna föður þíns, sem hann lét eftir verða til þess að gæta hallarinnar. Mun þá allur Ísrael frétta, að þú sért orðinn óþokkaður af föður þínum, og mun þá öllum þínum mönnum vaxa hugur.'
