28. svo að menn geti eigi sagt í landi því, sem þú leiddir oss út úr: ,Af því að Drottinn megnaði eigi að leiða þá inn í landið, sem hann hafði heitið þeim, og af því að hann hataði þá, hefir hann farið með þá burt til þess að láta þá deyja í eyðimörkinni.`
