11. Enn sá ég undir sólinni, að hinir fljótu ráða ekki yfir hlaupinu, né kapparnir yfir stríðinu, né heldur spekingarnir yfir brauðinu, né hinir hyggnu yfir auðnum, né vitsmunamennirnir yfir vinsældinni, því að tími og tilviljun mætir þeim öllum.
