2. þá sagði konungur við Ester einnig þennan hinn annan dag, þá er þau voru setst að víndrykkjunni: 'Hver er bón þín, Ester drottning? Hún mun veitast þér. Og hvers beiðist þú? Þótt það væri helmingur ríkisins, þá skal það í té látið.'
