23. Því að Drottinn mun fara yfir landið til þess að ljósta Egypta. Hann mun sjá blóðið á dyratrénu og báðum dyrastöfunum, og mun þá Drottinn ganga fram hjá dyrunum og ekki láta eyðandann koma í hús yðar til að ljósta yður.
