8. Geðjist hún eigi húsbónda sínum, sem ætlað hefir hana sjálfum sér, þá skal hann leyfa að hún sé leyst. Ekki skal hann hafa vald til að selja hana útlendum lýð, með því að hann hefir brugðið heiti við hana.
