30. Þar eru stórhöfðingjar norðursins allir saman og allir Sídoningar, er niður stigu helsærðir. Þrátt fyrir óttann, sem stóð af hreysti þeirra, eru þeir orðnir til skammar. Óumskornir liggja þeir hjá vopnbitnum mönnum og bera vanvirðu sína með þeim, er niður stignir eru í gröfina.
