18. Og ekki má landshöfðinginn taka neitt af óðali lýðsins og veita honum með því yfirgang. Af sinni eigin eign verður hann að veita sonum sínum arfleifð, til þess að enginn af lýð mínum verði flæmdur burt frá eign sinni.'
