2. Og landshöfðinginn skal koma að utan og ganga inn um forsal hliðsins og nema staðar við dyrastafi hliðsins. Þá skulu prestarnir bera fram brennifórn hans og heillafórn, en hann skal falla fram á þröskuldi hliðsins og ganga síðan út aftur, og hliðinu skal ekki loka til kvelds.
