14. Þá gekk Lot út og talaði við tengdasyni sína, sem ætluðu að ganga að eiga dætur hans, og mælti: 'Standið upp skjótt og farið úr þessum stað, því að Drottinn mun eyða borgina.' En tengdasynir hans hugðu, að hann væri að gjöra að gamni sínu.
