4. Fyrir trú bar Abel fram fyrir Guð betri fórn en Kain, og fyrir trú fékk hann þann vitnisburð, að hann væri réttlátur, er Guð bar vitni um fórn hans. Með trú sinni talar hann enn, þótt dauður sé.
