9. Þess vegna verður misgjörð Jakobs með því afplánuð og með því er synd hans algjörlega burt numin, að hann lætur alla altarissteinana verða sem brotna kalksteina, svo að asérurnar og sólsúlurnar rísa ekki upp framar.
