12. Járnsmiðurinn myndar egg á öxina, tekur hana fram við glóð og lagar hana með hömrunum. Hann býr hana til með hinum sterka armlegg sínum. En svelti hann, þá vanmegnast hann, fái hann ekki vatn að drekka, lýist hann.
