4. Þá sögðu höfðingjarnir við konung: 'Lát drepa mann þennan! Því að hann gjörir hermennina, sem eftir eru í þessari borg, huglausa og allan lýðinn með því að tala slík orð til þeirra, því að þessi maður leitar ekki þess, sem þessum lýð er til heilla, heldur þess, sem honum er til ógæfu.'
