7. þá var brotið skarð inn í borgina. Og konungur og allir hermennirnir flýðu og fóru út úr borginni um nóttina gegnum hliðið milli beggja múranna, sem er hjá konungsgarðinum, þótt Kaldear umkringdu borgina, og héldu leiðina til sléttlendisins.
