3. En Samson svaf til miðrar nætur. En um miðja nótt reis hann á fætur, þreif hurðirnar á borgarhliðinu, ásamt báðum dyrastöfunum, og kippti þeim upp ásamt slagbrandinum og lagði á herðar sér og bar þær efst upp á fjallið, sem er gegnt Hebron.
