17. og mennirnir fimm, sem farið höfðu að kanna landið, fóru upp og komu þangað, tóku skurðlíkneskið, hökullíkneskið, húsgoðin og steypta líkneskið. En presturinn stóð fyrir utan hliðið og þeir sex hundruð menn, búnir hervopnum.
