27. Þá tók Gídeon tíu menn af sveinum sínum og gjörði svo sem Drottinn hafði sagt honum. En með því að hann óttaðist, að hann mundi eigi geta gjört þetta að degi til fyrir ættmennum sínum og borgarmönnum, þá gjörði hann það um nótt.
