14. Því að svo er um líf alls holds, að saman fer blóð og líf, og fyrir því hefi ég sagt við Ísraelsmenn: ,Þér skuluð ekki neyta blóðs úr nokkru holdi, því að líf sérhvers holds, það er blóð þess. Hver sá, er þess neytir, skal upprættur verða.`
