6. Meðan allt þetta gjörðist, var ég ekki í Jerúsalem, því að á þrítugasta og öðru ríkisári Artahsasta konungs í Babýlon fór ég til konungsins. En að nokkrum tíma liðnum beiddist ég orlofs af konungi.
