3. Það sem lögmálinu var ógerlegt, að því leyti sem það mátti sín einskis fyrir holdinu, það gjörði Guð. Með því að senda sinn eigin son í líkingu syndugs manns gegn syndinni, dæmdi Guð syndina í manninum.
