14. Allora Davide disse a tutti i suoi servi ch’eran con lui a Gerusalemme: "Levatevi, fuggiamo; altrimenti, nessun di noi scamperà dalle mani di Absalom. Affrettatevi a partire, affinché con rapida marcia, non ci sorprenda, piombandoci rovinosamente addosso, e non colpisca la città mettendola a fil di spada".
