25. Absalom avea posto a capo dell’esercito Amasa, invece di Joab. Or Amasa era figliuolo di un uomo chiamato Jithra, l’Ismaelita, il quale aveva avuto relazioni con Abigal, figliuola di Nahash, sorella di Tseruia, madre di Joab.
