10. E dopo che Davide ebbe fatto il censimento del popolo, provò un rimorso al cuore, e disse all’Eterno: "Io ho gravemente peccato in questo che ho fatto; ma ora, o Eterno, perdona l’iniquità del tuo servo, poiché io ho agito con grande stoltezza".
