21. Poi Abner disse a Davide: "Io mi leverò e andrò a radunare tutto Israele presso il re mio signore, affinché essi facciano alleanza teco e tu regni su tutto quello che il cuor tuo desidera". Così Davide accomiatò Abner, che se ne andò in pace.
